Industry Events and Training

Extremely popular within the Trade, the Department holds events that regularly attract audiences of over 300 individuals and businesses.

Industry Events

Organised in close partnership with the Industry, professional bodies and academic institutions, our events are often free or carry only a nominal charge for attendance, emphasising our commitment to professional excellence and developing new opportunities.

Alongside our events, the Department usually produces a technical report which is available to attendees free of charge. Past events and reports can be accessed through our Technical Portal.

Laser Spot Welding and PUK welding

Throughout the year the Company provides smaller specialised training sessions on PUK (micro-tig) and laser welding, delivered by industry experts.

On completion of the training, attendance at these sessions allows free access to the Company’s welding machines.
